Nelson Ascenso

Nelson Ascenso has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nelson began their career at Stryker, where they worked as a Sales Representative and later as an Associate Product Manager and Associate Project Engineer. Nelson then moved on to ArthroCare Corporation, where they served as a Product Manager, responsible for the ENT product line. Following this, Ascenso joined Luminalt Energy Corporation as a Solar Sales Engineer, exceeding sales targets. Nelson further expanded their expertise in the renewable energy field at SunEdison, where they held roles as a Software Product Manager and Product Manager. Ascenso's experience also includes time at xOverTime as a Senior Product Manager and Project Manager. Nelson worked at WineDirect as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing a B2B marketplace platform, and at Dray Alliance as a Senior Product Manager, focusing on enhancing their marketplace. Ascenso's most recent position was at PortPro, where they held the role of Sr Product Manager. Throughout their career, Ascenso has demonstrated skills in product management, project management, sales, and engineering, amongst others.

Nelson Ascenso received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained the WSET Level 3 Award with Merit from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in July 2020.
