Jongwan Choi

Jongwan Choi is an experienced AI research engineer currently working as an AI Research Scientist at POSCO HOLDINGS, where they focus on energy and hot rolling mill processes. With over three years of experience in enterprise AI R&D, they have developed and managed end-to-end service projects utilizing large language models, and have conducted research on applying language models to specific domains. Prior to this, Jongwan worked as a Big Data/AI Analyst at POSCO, where they developed digital twin models for supply chain management and managed various projects. Their earlier experience includes a staff engineer role at Samsung Display, where they implemented smart factory solutions, and a mechanical engineer role, focusing on CAE solutions. Jongwan holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Hanyang University.
