Samuel Wee

Samuel Wee has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as the Head of Non-Ferrous Steelmaking Raw Materials Procurement at POSCO since June 2006, where responsibilities also include oversight of iron ore procurement and related materials. Previously, Samuel held the position of Global Steel Strategy Professional, focusing on iron ore and coking coal procurement with deep expertise in Brazil and Nexus partnerships. Samuel served as a Board Member at Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém from June 2019 to December 2021 and completed an internship at Lehman Brothers in 2002. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Management from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, an MBA from Georgia State University, a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Korea University, and participation in an Executive Program on Negotiation at the University of Hawai‘i.
