Patrick Hong

Patrick Hong has a diverse work experience in the field of gene engineering and research. Patrick began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles, before moving on to become a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the same institution. Patrick then worked as a Research Scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, followed by a role as a Staff Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Patrick later became a Team Leader at Cellectis and currently holds the position of Director of Gene Engineering at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc.

Patrick Hong holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics from UCLA. Patrick has also obtained various certifications over the years, including Bioinformatic Methods I from Coursera in 2017, and a Certificate of Completion for Future Leaders in Project Management Short Course from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2016.
