Mark Sefer

Mark Sefer currently serves as the Vice President of IT & PMO at PosiGen, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Mark held multiple leadership roles at Speedcast, rising to Vice President of IT from June 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing operational efficiency and implementing cybersecurity measures. As IT Director, Mark managed IT operations across 40 countries and played a key role in the company's transition from public to private during a challenging financial period. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Transocean, where Mark advanced from Sr. Applications Developer to IT Manager, improving IT service levels and leading major system integration projects. Mark's earlier career included positions at Heritage Health Systems and Healthlink/IBM, focusing on developing compliance systems and providing technical consultancy in healthcare. Mark holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.
