Steven Janke

Steven Janke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Steven started their career as a Data Entry Specialist at Vivint Solar in 2014, where they eventually became a Senior Business Analyst. During their time at Vivint Solar, Steven pioneered rebate/revenue data analysis, conducted financial governance, and implemented business intelligence tools.

In 2020, Steven transitioned to Sunrun as a Sr. Strategy and Business Intelligence Analyst, where they led data initiatives and structured customer sentiment and NPS data. Steven also served as a liaison between Operations and BI Development and elicited and documented business and systems requirements.

After their tenure at Sunrun, Steven joined Vivint as a Sr. Project Insights Analyst in 2022, where they worked until September 2022. Following that, they joined Ambia Solar as a Principal Analyst, where they acted as the foremost expert for BI, analytics engineering, and data structure/process. Steven also provided analytics support to sales leaders, served as a liaison for data engineering, and developed and curated back-end data flow.

Most recently, Steven joined PosiGen in 2024 as the Director of Asset Monitoring and Analytics. In this role, they lead a team responsible for post-PTO asset performance, serves as a data liaison between data engineering and executive leadership, and identifies and enhances processes between operations, field operations, and asset performance.

Before their career in the energy industry, Steven worked at Pilot Thomas Logistics as a Crew Lead and Certified Safety Trainer, collaborating with billion-dollar companies and supervising fuel delivery to multiple sites while ensuring safety compliance.

Overall, Steven Janke has a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and project management within the renewable energy and logistics industries.

Steven Janke attended Utah Valley University from 2018 to 2021 and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Steven is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Utah, expected to graduate in 2023.
