Daniel Chen is a skilled professional with extensive experience in data science and education. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at The University of British Columbia since March 2022, Daniel also educates future data scientists at Posit PBC and contributes as a volunteer with The Carpentries. Daniel's experience as a Data Scientist spans roles at Lander Analytics and Pandarrow, Inc. Additionally, Daniel held a Graduate Research Assistant position at the Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech prior to obtaining a PhD in Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Virginia Tech.
