Gábor Csárdi is a Senior Software Engineer at Posit PBC since April 2017, with previous experience as a Principal Data Science Consultant at Mango Solutions from October 2015 to December 2016. Gábor's academic career includes three postdoctoral positions, notably at Harvard University (March 2011 - August 2015), where Gábor developed a Bayesian structured covariance model for genomic and proteomic datasets, and ongoing work on methodology for alternative splicing RNASeq experiments. Gábor's earlier postdoctoral roles at the University of Lausanne and the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics involved analyzing microarray datasets for gene regulation in Williams-Beuren syndrome patients. Gábor holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University, completed between 2003 and 2008.
