Kevin Ushey

Kevin Ushey is a seasoned software engineer at Posit PBC, with a significant background in statistical programming and data analysis. With previous roles at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center as a statistical programmer and at the James Hogg Research Center as a statistician, Kevin specializes in working with GWAS and next-generation sequencing data to identify genetic associations with diseases like COPD and asthma. Additionally, Kevin has academic experience as a lecturer at The University of British Columbia, where responsibilities included guiding graduate students in statistical consulting and reviewing their work for quality.
