Lea Frank is a data scientist at the Los Angeles Times since January 2023, with a concurrent role as a Data Science Mentor in Education at Posit PBC, where efforts include empowering analysts to learn R and fostering a community of learners. Previously, Lea was a PhD graduate student at the University of Oregon from September 2016 to June 2022, contributing to memory theories through extensive research, including spearheading multiple projects, authoring award-winning papers, and mentoring researchers.
