Max Kuhn

Max Kuhn has extensive experience in software engineering and statistics, currently serving as a Software Engineer at RStudio, Inc. since December 2016, where the focus is on developing software for statistical modeling, visualization, and analysis in data science. Prior to this role, Max held the position of Senior Director of Nonclinical Statistics at Pfizer from February 2005 to November 2016, overseeing drug discovery programs and applying predictive modeling expertise across various fields. Max started a career at BD Diagnostic Systems from June 1998 to January 2005, initially as a Senior Statistician supporting R&D in molecular diagnostics before advancing to a managerial role overseeing departmental resource planning and staff coordination. Max Kuhn earned a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Mathematics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
