Michael Chow

Michael Chow is a Software Engineer focused on open source development at RStudio PBC since February 2022, specializing in Python tools for data analysis, display, and documentation. Prior to this role, Michael served as Data Science Lead at Jarvus Innovations, where responsibilities included overseeing the growth of a data team for the California Integrated Travel Project. Michael's career also includes a position as Assessment Research Lead and Software Engineer at DataCamp, contributing to adaptive assessment and the creation of tutoring systems for data science education. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Princeton University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Idaho State University.
