Patrick O'Connell is currently the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at Position Sports and serves as a mentor for the DREAM Program. They previously worked as Sr. Director of Player & Media Relations for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2012 to 2022, and as Assistant Director of Media Relations for the Chicago White Sox from 2004 to 2011. Patrick also acted as the World Baseball Classic Team Liaison for Italy from 2013 to 2017. They began their career as a Media Relations Assistant with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Marquette University in 1999.
