Damon Tran is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product engineering and manufacturing processes. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Product Engineering at Positioning Universal since August 2022, Tran previously held significant roles at CalAmp, including Principal Engineer and Sr. Engineer, where responsibilities involved introducing new products into production in China and creating assembly drawings. Tran's early career includes positions at On-Ramp Wireless, Eastman Kodak, Jaalaa Inc., WIDCOMM, and Orange Micro, primarily focusing on the transition of products from design to mass production, validating design layouts, and supporting prototype builds. Tran holds a BS in Computer Technology from Liberty International University, along with other degrees and certifications in related fields.

We offer the tools, software components, and a selection of hardware options to do full, multifaceted implementations. We specialize in the mobile, low-powered part of the IoT world and have experience with small, power-efficient, mobile devices that can tell you where they are, what they are doing, and what they are sensing/monitoring.
