Joe Berg

Joe Berg is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Positive Sum since October 2024, Joe previously co-founded and led engineering efforts at Colossus from September 2020 to October 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer II at DICK'S Sporting Goods, where Joe contributed to enhancing the e-commerce search experience using various technologies including Elasticsearch, Java/Spring, and cloud platforms. Earlier, Joe undertook a Software Developer Internship at Bank of America, focusing on Java programming for financial tracking. Joe's academic background features a degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University, complemented by involvement as a walk-on safety in the university's varsity football team.
