Sam Cates

Sam has been investing in and supporting early-stage companies since 2013. Before Positive Sum, he was an investor at GE Ventures focused on industrial and enterprise software companies. Sam more recently founded Daybreak to help founders fuel their growth with fundraising and building enterprise partnerships. He holds a B.S. in financial management from Clemson University and is a CFA charter holder.
