Armando Ponzini

Armando Ponzini is a board member and general manager with extensive leadership experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. They currently serve as a board member at Poste Italiane, a board member and general manager at BCC Vita, and co-owner of GT INSURANCE - Rischi Speciali. Their prior roles include Deputy General Manager, VDG and Head of P&C at AXA Assicurazioni (2013–2021), Head of the North East Division and Chief Technical and Offer Officer for Life and P&C at AXA (2003–2011), CEO of CARGEAS Assicurazioni S.p.A. (2018–2021), Insurance Advisor and P&C expert at Open Insurance (2021–2024), and Client Partner at EIM Italia (2023–2024). They earned a Laurea from Università Bocconi (1989–1994) and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (1997–1999), and studied at Feltrinelli (1983–1987).
