Daniel Coderre

Daniel Coderre is a skilled Data Scientist currently employed at PostFinance Ltd since January 2020, where Daniel developed Switzerland's first machine learning-powered money laundering alert reduction system, achieving significant cost savings, and created the PostFinance AI Platform using an open-source framework. Prior to this role, Coderre served as an XENON1T Experimental Physicist at the University of Freiburg from May 2017 to January 2020, co-coordinating a global data analysis group and leading the construction of the XENONnT data acquisition system. Coderre's earlier experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Universität Bern focused on data acquisition system design for XENON1T and a PhD student role at Forschungszentrum Jülich, where Daniel analyzed rare light meson decays. Coderre earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Ruhr University Bochum and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University at Albany.
