Robert Treat

Robert Treat is a highly experienced Principal Database Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), contributing to the PostgreSQL Contributors Team since December 2024. As a major contributor to the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since 2003, Robert serves as the Postgres Liaison for Software In The Public Interest, actively participating in sponsorship and community management initiatives. Previous roles include Postgres Technical Fellow at Instaclustr, where responsibilities encompassed the integration of PostgreSQL technologies, mentoring staff, and providing subject matter expertise. Robert also founded and served as President of CREDATIV, LLC, and held various leadership positions at OmniTI that spanned CEO, COO, and Database Architect, driving significant growth in database services.
