Valeria Kaplan

Valeria Kaplan serves as the Director of Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Community at Data Egret since September 2016, where responsibilities include marketing, public relations, and overseeing company communications. As a recognized contributor to the PostgreSQL community since February 2020, Kaplan actively participates in initiatives such as chairing the PgUS User Group Committee. Prior experience includes managing accounts for pharmaceutical clients at Real Chemistry from August 2012 to September 2016, and extensive roles at the European Molecular Biology Organization from 2006 to 2012, which involved organizing significant conferences and overseeing membership communications. Kaplan's educational background includes a B.A. in Communication and Management from The College of Management Academic Studies and further studies in management and German proficiency.
