Alan Mar

Alan Mar, CPA, MST, currently serves as a Senior Tax Manager at Postman since September 2025. Previously, Alan held the position of Senior Tax Manager at Alation from October 2022 to August 2025, and prior to that, positioned as Tax Manager at BDO USA, LLP from March 2021 to October 2022 and EY from April 2020 to March 2021. Alan's career began at Alvarez & Marsal as Director from January 2016 to April 2020, followed by a role as Senior Tax Accountant at Armanino LLP from January 2015 to December 2015 and as Staff Accountant II at Berger Lewis Accountancy Corporation from January 2012 to December 2014. Alan holds a Master of Science in Taxation from San José State University and has also studied at the University of California, Berkeley.
