Mike Ralphson has extensive experience in web and API technologies, serving as a Technical Steering Committee Member for the OpenAPI Initiative since December 2017 and currently as the OpenAPI technical lead at Postman since April 2021. Mike maintains APIs.guru, contributing to the field since March 2017, and operates as a Development Consultant for Mermade Software since 1995, specializing in web/API technologies, EDI/XML, and legacy integration. Previous roles include Senior Developer and EDI Manager at Abacus Group plc from September 1997 to December 2009, managing customer and supplier data and legacy application integration, and Directeur Technique at Microfor Sarl from 1991 to 1997, where Mike developed a Pan-European communications solution and co-developed multi-user, multi-language EPOS products. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology and Applied Computing at the University of Buckingham, Mike's educational background also includes studies in Sociology at The Open University.
