Shy Alter

Shy Alter has a diverse work experience, with a focus on engineering and product management roles. Shy started working at Forward in 2016 as a Software Developer, where they developed modules, features, and components and conducted research on new technologies. In 2017, they joined iGenius, the AI company, initially as a Software Developer and then as an Engineering Manager and VP of Product/Engineering. In these roles, Shy led cross-functional teams, transformed the organization into cross-functional product teams, and built the product management team from scratch. They also transitioned the company to work in cycles with an outcome-based framework. Currently, Shy is the Head of Engineering at Orbit, where they are accountable for all engineers and product development efforts. They redesigned the engineering organization to improve efficiency and team happiness, and they are focused on accelerating the engineering team's personal growth.

Shy Alter obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.
