Craig Gilbert

Craig Gilbert is an experienced journalist and editor with a diverse background in the media industry. Currently serving as a Copy Editor at Postmedia Network Inc. since February 2025, Craig has previously held the role of Deputy Managing Editor at the same company from March 2022 to December 2023. Prior to that, Craig worked at NNSL Media as a Coordinating Editor and Assignment Editor, where responsibilities included overseeing editorial operations and shaping newspapers across the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Craig also has experience as a Publisher at The Fitzhugh and held various editorial positions at BC Musician Magazine, Peachland View, Northern Journal, and St. Thomas-Elgin Weekly News, in addition to reporting for London Community News and Sun Media. Craig's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Laurentian University and a Diploma of Education in Journalism from Cambrian College.
