Laura Kavanagh

Laura Kavanagh has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Postmedia Network Inc., which they started in July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at OANDA (Canada) Corporation ULC from October 2008 to June 2019. Laura also held the same position at Alliance Films Inc in 2008. From 2001 to 2007, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Corus Entertainment. Earlier in their career, they worked at Nelvana Limited as a Manager of Human Resources from 1997 to 2001 and as a Human Resources Representative from 1996 to 1997. Laura began their career as a Compensation Specialist at Woodbridge Group in 1993.

Laura Kavanagh completed their Bachelor of Arts in Math for Commerce at York University from 1988 to 1993. Laura then pursued further education and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic from 2001 to 2006.
