Marie Sutherland is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various prominent media organizations. Currently serving as a Production Editor/QC at Postmedia Network Inc. since June 2022, Sutherland previously worked as a Web Editor/Reporter at CBC from October 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, Sutherland was the Senior News Editor at Toronto Star from April 2007 to November 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing the daily production of news sections. Additionally, Sutherland held the position of Front Page Editor at Waterloo Region Record from June 2000 to March 2007. Sutherland holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo, and completed education at Cameron Heights High School and Conestoga College.
