Amiel Makdoembaks

Amiel Makdoembaks has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Amiel currently serves as a Lead Solution Software Engineer at PostNL since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at KSYOS TeleMedisch Centrum from October 2017 to May 2021, where they held the role of Senior Software Developer/Team Lead. Amiel also worked at the Central Bank of Suriname from January 2010 to October 2017, holding positions such as Manager IT Solution Development and IT Architect/Analyst. Before that, they worked at Qualogy as a J2EE Developer from December 2007 to December 2009. Amiel's earlier experiences include working as an Embedded Software Designer at ASML from August 2001 to February 2008 and an Internship at Honeywell from October 2000 to February 2001.

Amiel Makdoembaks obtained a Master of Science (MSC) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, where they studied from 1995 to 2001. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2023 and January 2021 respectively. Amiel also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate certification from Microsoft, which was obtained in December 2020.
