Daan Hiemstra

Daan Hiemstra is a co-founder of StudieschuldMeester, a platform dedicated to providing comprehensive information on student debt management, currently working there since September 2024. In parallel, Daan Hiemstra has been serving as the PO for AI/Data Analytics Services at PostNL since April 2021, leading the Data Analytics Services ecosystem and focusing on data compliance for Data Scientists and Analysts. Daan Hiemstra has also held roles such as Data Science Community Lead and Senior Data Scientist at PostNL, and prior to that, worked as a Data Scientist Consultant at Lynxx. Daan Hiemstra's early experience includes an internship at KLM focusing on passenger rebooking strategies and roles in research and student assistance. Daan Hiemstra holds a Master of Science in Econometrics and Operational Research, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen.
