Diana Clarke

Diana Clarke has been a software developer since 2001. Diana began their career at Pason Systems, followed by Intelliware in 2005, FreshBooks in 2008, Chango in 2011, Red Hat in 2015, YouGov in 2017, Voltron Data in 2020, and Postscript in 2021. At Postscript, they are a Senior Software Engineer, and is responsible for fully tested, backend RESTful API development (Python, PostgreSQL, Linux, Flask, SQLAlchemy, AWS, pytest, black, etc). At Python Software Foundation, they were elected a Fellow in 2013 and held the roles of Director and PyCon Chair. At Voltron Data, they worked on Conbench, a language independent, continuous benchmarking (CB) framework. At YouGov, they were an Engineering Manager/Software Developer and was responsible for fully tested, backend RESTful API development (Python, MongoDB, CherryPy, Linux, pytest, black, etc). At Red Hat, they worked on the Compute team (Python, OpenStack, Nova) and was a fully remote position.

Diana Clarke attended the University of Alberta from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science.
