Susan Kerschbaumer has worked in the technology industry for over twenty years. Susan started their career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1997 as a VP, Enterprise Design and Security, where they designed and developed a BSDI-based firewall monitoring system. In 2000, they moved to Forbes.com as Director of Content Management, where they architected and managed the development of a new content management system. From 2001 to 2009, they worked at Bear Stearns as a Senior Architect/Associate Director, where they conducted third party product evaluations and helped develop core components and platforms for equities and derivatives trading. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Architect/Data Architecture Office at Blue Sky Studios, where they architected and implemented an animation production management system. From 2012 to 2016, they worked independently, focusing on learning about new sectors in both the film and financial industries. In 2016, they moved to Pico Quantitative Trading as a Senior Software Engineer, where they architected and developed applications for visualization of system health and market data for the firm's global market data infrastructure. In 2020, they joined Ro as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they lead two platform teams tasked with rearchitecting the backend infrastructure for patient fulfillment, and building the core infrastructure of the company's product-led initiatives. Currently, they are a Senior Engineering Manager at Postscript.
Susan Kerschbaumer obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, General from Smith College.
