Jill Sutton

Jill Sutton is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and strategic legal counsel, currently serving on the Board of Directors at Potbelly Sandwich Works since 2022, where involvement includes the Compensation Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. Previously, Jill was the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at United Natural Foods Inc. from 2018 to 2021, and served as Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at General Motors from 2015 to 2018, overseeing significant financial transactions such as the Cruise Automation acquisition. Additionally, Jill held various leadership roles at Tim Hortons from 2006 to 2015, effectively managing the global law department and advising on corporate governance issues, and worked as Corporate Counsel at The Wendy's Company from 2004 to 2006, instrumental in the Tim Hortons IPO and spin-off. Jill holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, alongside a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
