Jun Yoon

Jun Yoon is a professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management, public service, and research. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Potencia, an education nonprofit focused on addressing language barriers through civic engagement, Jun has been instrumental since April 2019. Prior to this role, experience includes serving as Assistant to the Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, where participation in various projects such as website redevelopment and grant application assessments occurred. Previous positions involve research assistant roles at the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights and the East Asia Institute, as well as internships with Grameen Bank and WFUNA, focusing on microcredit, public relations, and international diplomacy. Jun's educational background encompasses a Master of Science in Innovation and Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the same institution, along with studies at Seoul National University. Military service was completed in the Republic of Korea Army as a Sergeant in the Special Forces.
