Donnette Echols

Head of Lower School at POTOMAC SCHOOL

During her very first visit to the Potomac Lower School, She knew it was a perfect place for her. She saw students being encouraged to invent algorithms and write their own kindergarten how-to books. When she got an opportunity to join in on the fun while being served a bamboo salad on the playground, she was hooked. She says Imagination requires the use of the whole brain, which increases the students' problem-solving abilities, social-emotional development, and empathy quotient. She loves that the Potomac Lower School encourages students to use their imagination to speak their dreams into existence.
