Won Kim

Won Kim served 21 years at the Federal Communications Commission before retiring in 2016, working as a senior attorney in the spectrum and competition policy division of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. After her retirement, Ms. Kim has been devoting her time to her family, friends and the Potomac School. Mostly recently, she took up on her new role as Vice President of SML Genetree Sciences, Inc., US subsidiary of SML Genetree, a leading developer of molecular diagnostics and sequencing technologies in Korea. At SML Genetree, Ms. Kim is in charge of the regulatory compliance and the legal affairs, as well as overseeing the commercialization of their IVD products in the US market.
