POTS is a registered social enterprise, founded in 2017. We empower people experiencing homelessness to tell their stories, and then we do all sorts of things to make the rest of the world listen.

In the last decade, the number of people sleeping on the streets in the UK has rapidly grown, and there is greater demand than ever on the organisations and resources available to help meet their needs. But the causes of this increase are deep-rooted and complicated, and it’s clear by now that it will not be ‘solved’ by more beds and hot meals alone. We all have needs more complex than food and shelter – like the need to be listened to, accepted and understood.

We create pop-up exhibitions that harness the power of self-expression and dialogue to tackle stereotypes, invisibility and alienation.
