Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles within financial management and reporting. Currently serving as Controller at Powell since August 2020, Christopher previously held the position of Plant Controller at Dayco from November 2017 to July 2020, where responsibilities included expense analysis and budgeting for manufacturing sites. Prior to that, Christopher worked at Dow Corning in roles as Financial Analyst and Senior Business Process Finance Analyst, focusing on financial reporting software and business reporting coordination. Christopher's career began as a Senior Accountant at Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC, where involvement included internal and external audit engagements across multiple industries. Educationally, Christopher earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Saginaw Valley State University, following a high school diploma from Merrill High School.
