Jason LaPorte

Jason LaPorte has over 20 years of work experience in the IT and telecommunications industries. Jason began their career in 1996 as the Director of Operations for Global Network Communications, Inc. In 2006, they became the Director of Operations and Senior Project Manager for Firequench, Inc. Jason then moved to Phoneworks, Inc in 2007, taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. From 2008 to 2019, they held multiple roles at Power Consulting Group, Inc., including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Director of IT, and Operations Manager. Most recently, they joined Intel Corporation in 2019 as a Member of the Board of Advisors.

Jason LaPorte attended John Dewey High School from 1989 to 1992 and then New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Jason has also obtained a variety of certifications, including the KCA Recertification Program from Kaseya in August 2022, the VSA Kaseya Certified Technician Program from IT Glue in August 2022, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals from Microsoft in January 2022, Client Managed Services from Intel Corporation in June 2021, Passly Certified Administrator Program from IT Glue in October 2020, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco, Dell ECertified Professional | PowerEdge from Dell, Dell EqualLogic Certified Professional | PS Series from Dell, MCITP from Microsoft, MCSE: Server Infrastructure from Microsoft, SonicWALL Network Security Advanced Administration from SonicWall Inc., VMware VCP 5 Data Center Virtualization from VMware, and Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) from Veeam Software.
