David Mik has extensive work experience in the construction industry. David is currently the President of Power Engineering Construction Co., where they oversee all day-to-day operations of the company and focuses on expanding their presence in the marine and commercial diving markets. Prior to this role, David held the position of Vice President of Construction Operations at the same company, where they managed various projects including the Exploratorium Marine Structural Upgrades project in San Francisco. David also worked as a Project Superintendent and Project Engineer on different projects such as the Chevron refinery's Mogas pipeline, the reconstruction of the Hyde St. Pier, and the installation of a seawall at the California Maritime Academy. Before entering the construction industry, David served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy.
David Mik completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering at Massachusetts Maritime Academy from 1982 to 1986. David later pursued a Master of Science in Civil Engineering at Stanford University from 1990 to 1992.
