John Teoh has a solid background in test development engineering, with significant experience in designing and improving functional testers (ATE). John has worked at various companies, including Power Integrations, Plexus Corp., ESCATEC - Providers of Electronic Manufacturing Services, and PRECICO SDN. BHD.
At Power Integrations, they are currently serving as a Senior Test Engineer.
During their time at Plexus Corp. from July 2011 to May 2020, John held the role of Senior Test Development Engineer 2. Their responsibilities included developing new ATE using NI Labview and NI TestStand, creating tester schematic designs using Cadence Design Entry CIS, and utilizing LabView and Test Stand for ATE development.
From May 2010 to July 2011, they worked at ESCATEC - Providers of Electronic Manufacturing Services as a Senior Test Development Engineer. Here, they designed and developed new functional testers (ATE) using LabVIEW 2009, improved existing functional testers for better yield, and coordinated with local vendors for hardware JIG implementation.
Before that, they worked at PRECICO SDN. BHD. as a Senior Test Development Engineer from April 2004 to May 2010. In this role, they led product engineering for product transfers from customers to production, designed new functional testers (ATE), improved existing testers for better yield, and collaborated with local vendors for ATE and test fixture coordination.
John Teoh completed a Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Engineering at MIDAS Institute of Engineering from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree of Engineering (Honours) with a major in Multimedia at Multimedia University from 1999 to 2003, focusing on Multimedia Engineering.
