Matt Werner has extensive experience in product engineering and leadership roles in the semiconductor industry. Matt is currently working as the Director of Product Engineering at Power Integrations since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director at Analog Devices from August 2021 to March 2022.
From 2013 to 2021, Matt held multiple roles at Maxim Integrated, including Director of Product Engineering and Manager of Product Engineering. During their time at Maxim, they led the integration process for Volterra designed products, defined the blueprint for the Product Engineering role within the CEPs BU, and successfully navigated the release of products to meet systems integration requirements.
Before joining Maxim, Matt worked at Volterra Semiconductor, where they held the positions of Sr. Manager of Product Engineering and Manager of Product Engineering. Matt managed teams, resolved circuit and powertrain issues, designed new test hardware, and drove the definition of system-level telemetry specifications for various products.
Matt started their career at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as a Yield Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Matt then joined Volterra in 2004 as a Staff Product Engineer before progressing to more senior roles within the company.

Matt Werner attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1993 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering. Matt then pursued further education at Stanford University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Material Science and Engineering.
