Senior Staff IC Design Engineer at Power Integrations

Matthew W. has a diverse work experience in the field of IC design engineering. Matthew started their career as a Digital IC Design Engineer at Nortel Networks in 1998, where they worked on a chip-set for an IP router. Matthew then moved on to TTPCom in 2001, where they were a Hardware Engineer involved in various projects, including schematic design for WiMAX USB dongle demonstrator. In 2007, Matthew joined Cambridge Semiconductor as a Senior IC Design Engineer and later became Principal IC Design Engineer. Their responsibilities there included RTL coding, testbenches, FPGA prototyping, synthesis, and verification. Matthew also played a joint system architect role for a new mixed-signal controller IC. In 2015, Matthew joined Power Integrations as a Senior Staff IC Design Engineer. Their work experience there is ongoing and no end date has been provided. Outside of their engineering career, Matthew also worked at City Church Cambridge as an Elder, where they had leadership and public speaking responsibilities.

Matthew W. obtained their Master's Degree in Engineering from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, following four years of study from 1993 to 1997.
