Rick Brown is a GaN device development scientist with a comprehensive background in electrical engineering. They earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 2010 and are currently pursuing both an M.S. and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at the same institution. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a GaN Device Scientist at Avogy | ZOLT, and later served as a Visiting Scientist at Cornell University from 2012 to 2017. As the Founder and CTO of Odyssey Semiconductor Technologies, Inc from 2019 to 2024, they laid the groundwork for innovative developments in the semiconductor field before taking on the role of Sr. Process Development Manager at Power Integrations in 2024. Additionally, they were the owner of Cayuga Micro Devices from 2013 to 2019.
