David Dunbar

David Dunbar is a Power Delivery Designer at Power System Engineering. David previously worked at American Electric Power from October 2008 to February 2015 as a Principal Designer. While at American Electric Power, David worked on the electrical and controls design for a variety of capital projects, including the design of power plant black start and coping power systems.

David Dunbar has a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from Miami University and two Associate of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering: Instrumentation and Controls and Electronics from Washington State Community College. David also has an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Washington State Community College.

They are on a team with Mike Mezera - Manager, Line Design, Seth Packwood - Substation Design Engineer, and Heather Andrew - Regional Lead System Engineer. David Dunbar reports to Kevin McCutcheon, VP, Utility, Engineering & Design.
