Peter Daemen

Peter Daemen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy project management and strategy consulting. Currently a Partner and SVP of Strategy Consulting and Project Development at Power2X, Peter focuses on hybrid project development within the energy and materials transition sector. Prior roles include Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where Peter specialized in decarbonization and capital projects for the energy industry across the Middle East and Europe. Peter has successfully managed complex projects at various companies, such as NAM BV, Basrah Gas Company, PetroChina International, and Shell, contributing to significant energy infrastructure advancements. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics from the University of Twente.
