Wei Wei

Wei Wei is a seasoned expert in the field of battery technology and process planning, currently serving as a Senior Expert in Process Planning at PowerCo SE since August 2022, while also contributing as an Expert for Battery Slurry Production at Volkswagen AG since April 2021. Wei has extensive experience in planning and realizing production equipment for Mixing Lines of Gigfactories and in the development of advanced slurry mixing technology for mass production. Prior to these roles, Wei led R&D and product development projects as the Head of Energy Systems at Orion Engineered Carbons LLC NAFTA from June 2016 to April 2021, focusing on battery applications and technical support for conductive Carbon Black. Wei's research background includes a postdoctoral position at Uppsala University, where significant contributions were made to the development of innovative battery technologies. Wei holds a PhD in Materials Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and has a comprehensive educational background in the same field from Beihang University.
