Katie Cafouros

Katie Cafouros has extensive work experience in the field of environmental sustainability and renewable energy. Katie currently works at PowerFlex as a Sr Business Development Manager, where they are responsible for originating new portfolio accounts within the C&I sector for large-scale turnkey EV charging installations, solar and storage. Katie also maintains long-term relationships with clients and proposes integrated renewable energy solutions. Prior to PowerFlex, Katie worked at EDF Renewables North America as a Business Development Manager and O&M Account Manager, where they were responsible for customer account management and securing operations and maintenance service contracts for wind assets. Katie has also worked at Upstream Sustainable Solutions as a Principal, where they performed environmental assessments and developed energy management plans. Additionally, Katie has experience working at San Diego Gas & Electric, Garett Energy, QGC, ExxonMobil, ERM: Environmental Resources Management, IT Environmental (now Coffey Environments), and the INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR ANIMAL WELFARE (IFAW) in various roles related to environmental compliance, sustainability, and campaign management.

Katie Cafouros completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Notre Dame from 1998 to 2002. After a few years, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's of Advanced Studies in International Affairs from UC San Diego in 2015-2016. Their specialization during their Master's program was in Environmental Policy and Sustainability.
