Peter L. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Peter began their career at Dime Bank in 2015 as a Retail Intern. In 2015, they also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Columbia McNeill Lab Group.

In 2017, Peter joined EnterSolar as an Engineering Intern, where they conducted preliminary energy production simulations and assisted in generating site plans and electrical one-line diagrams for PV system designs. Peter later became a Jr. Project Engineer at EnterSolar in 2019, responsible for delivering preliminary designs and energy production estimates for various PV systems. Peter also drafted interconnection documents and submitted interconnection applications for projects in New York.

Peter's most recent position is at PowerFlex, where they worked as a Design Engineer before being promoted to Sr. Design Engineer. In these roles, they were a subject matter expert for HelioScope and PVsyst software. Peter managed a team of PV designers and interns, maintained a high hit rate on design and simulation requests, and reviewed and approved reports for the pricing and financial modeling of solar assets. Peter also implemented new software integration and process improvement projects, as well as revamped AutoCAD templates.

Peter L. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University from 2015 to 2019. In February 2022, they obtained the certification of Engineer In Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
