Ryan Henley

Ryan Henley has a diverse work experience background, starting with their current role as a Research and Development Engineer at PowerFlex since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Controls Engineer at Ageto Energy from 2020 to 2022. In 2020, Ryan also had a role at IBM as an Economic Analysis Lead and Energy Analyst, where they collaborated with the company to develop a comprehensive database of potential renewable energy project sites. In 2019, Ryan worked at Siemens Gamesa as a Design and Testing Engineer, where they designed and tested a system to monitor the systems inside a wind turbine. Ryan also has experience as a Learning Assistant Mentor and Learning Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, Ryan worked as a Product Development Intern at Lignetics Inc, where they focused on testing burn characteristics of heating pellets and researched sustainable alternatives to plastic.

Ryan Henley completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Ryan attended the university from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Engineer In Training from NCEES in March 2020.
