Peter Dodd is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and embedded systems development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Firmware Engineer at SmartSense by Digi since June 2021, Peter has previously held the role of Principal Firmware Engineer at Powerhouse Dynamics, where responsibilities included architecting and developing firmware for client products and integrating third-party components. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Kidde-Fenwal as a Staff Engineer, focusing on embedded software for fire suppression equipment, and earlier roles at Kidde Fire Protection, Tynetec Ltd, and Electric Vehicle Systems Ltd, emphasizing hardware and software development across various projects.
