Michael Marcus

Mr. Marcus is the founder of Marcus Partners, LLC, a strategic advisory firm to major retail financial services organizations. He is a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group and to Argus Information and Advisory Services. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board member to a number of startups in the consumer lending and data/analytics space. Michael is the former CRO, CMO, Head of Strategy/Business Development, and Head of Customer Information Management at HSBC/Household’s credit card business. Prior to this, he was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group in the firm’s Financial Institutions practice, where he worked in the Chicago and London offices. Michael has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School Of Business, and a BA with Honors in Political Science from Grinnell College.
